One of the biggest pieces of news this week has been the devastating fires in Los Angeles, which are some of the worst in the history of California.
If you’re in the affected zone, do the best that you can to stay safe and not interfere with personnel working to combat the fires. One of the planes working to control the fire was hit by a civilian drone on Friday, and seriously — do not do that. Ground your drones. Please.
On the site, we broke down some of the other things that you can do to help. You can read that coverage here, but to sum up, volunteering and donating can be really helpful!
Good resources for donating include:

If you know folks in California, also consider reaching out to them. When people are going through a tough time, telling them that you’re thinking about them and sending them your love is often really appreciated.
Also consider how you can contribute to causes that are dealing with climate change, one of the major drivers behind the environmental catastrophes that we’ve been dealing with over the last few years. There’s still time to act.
